Well it's been a while since I blogged. I wanted to put the Christmas story on here, but I never got around to it. But it's high time I put up a new post.
I have been reading in psalms lately, and in many of those psalms, David is intent on living wholeheartedly for God. As I read these, I think about my life and what I have been doing about this. And I realized that I haven't given my whole self to Him. I have given parts of it, but that's not enough. There are some things that I have done well in giving to Him, and some that I haven't given at all, like my time. I have not given Him my time. I wasted a lot of time last semester, and I don't think that's what God has called me to do. He wants us to not waste a minute, but give glory to Him always. There is no describing what He has done for us, so to give Him this life is nothing.
So when you are thinking about giving yourself to God, remember that He was the one who gave you life, and He was the one who sacrificed His son so that you could be saved, and He is the one who loves us no matter what we do. So wherever you are in your life, just think about what God has done in your life and what you have given to Him. If He is worthy and you believe that with all your heart and soul, then give Him everything. Don't waste a second doing something that won't honor Him. Cause He does deserve it!
